Now we have DIAM who are revolutionising the closure! When I open wines that I corked 5 years ago, ‘Un esprit de chevalier’ 2012 for example, the 12 bottles are identical. They are all fresh, pure; they have kept their original character.
In my opinion, 90% of Bordeaux wines should today be sealed with these so-called technical closures.
